Get to know your child
Affecting Change is a Therapeutic Education service that offers a range of family-focused strategies for helping children and young people with difficulties. We work with the family to get to know the child, building a tailored package of support from behaviour activation to trauma informed work. Together, we can identify and gently help your child develop healthy coping strategies and a prosperous future. We have experience of working with children who have experienced trauma, SEMH, ADHD, ADD, Autism, dyslexia, and other SEND needs.

Build a bespoke package of support
Once we get to know we build a package that meets the needs of your child, to promote personal growth, build self esteem and offer strategies for regulation. Our mission is to help others discover their inner strength and create a positive and lasting change in their life. Strategies that we have used in the past have been Art, cooking, equine, forest schools, trades courses, academic tutoring, hair and beauty. We work with the young person's interests and strengths, to build towards personal goals. whether that be back into full time education or aiming to leave the house regularly

Work with a multi agency approach
We then liaise with a variety of professional s including the home school, CAMHS, children's services, counsellors and anyone else that may be involved with your child, this ensures a joined up approach to the work that is done and therefore a more successful outcome. I am also linked to various organisations and companies including tutors, counselors and education providers, to help develop the provision your child is offeren
